Japan's Marubeni-led group to win Senoko auction- sources

SINGAPORE, Sept 5 (Reuters) - A consortium led by Japan'sMarubeni Corp  is expected to win the auction to buySingapore's Temasek-owned Senoko Power, with an offer of morethan S$3.5 billion ($2.44 billion), sources said on Friday.

     The five-member consortium comprises Marubeni, GDF Suez,Kansai Electric, Kiyusho Electric and JapanBank of International Cooperation, a source with knowledge ofdeal told Reuters.

     "The consortium led by Marubeni is leading the race," saidthe source.

     The final bids in the auction, conducted by sovereign fundTemasek Holdings [TEM.UL], came in on Wednesday and winner ofthe auction is expected to be announced late on Friday, sourcessaid. (Reporting by Saeed Azhar; Editing by Louise Heavens)

呵呵，senoko power大约40亿新币啊，
之前出售比较小间的Tuas Power也要42亿了，
哪华能集团不就成了大冤头吗？

senoko power的盈利是2。55亿，
40亿等于是senoko power的15。68倍的本益比，
呵呵，不买好像浪费了点

不可以这么算。如果融资来买进，就要看看利息成本多高。
我估计，下个升息周期应该不远。所以，太高的本益比，会影响了回本的时间。
甚至会为企业带来风险。
如果没有错，发电业务是以美元计算的。
大家看看最近的美元走势。

Senoko已经给日本财团买去了。YTLPOWER已经投标失败鸟，等它在找机会吧。

日本财团以现金SD3，650M和承担SD323M债务的代价买进Senoko。以０７－０８年年报的盈利SD130M来酸的话，PE是30.56。

投标失败固然难过，但是，YTLPOWER现在可是现金满满的，唯有期待杨老板的下一步棋lo。。

日本丸红集团领导财团 36.5亿标得圣诺哥能源

　　日本丸红集团(Marubeni)领导的财团成功以36亿5000万元标得圣诺哥能源(Senoko Power)的全部股权。

　　成功向淡马锡控股(Temasek)标得圣诺哥能源的狮子能源控股(Lion Power Holdings)，由日本丸红集团、法国苏伊士GDF(GDF Suez)、关西电力(Kansai Electric Power)、九州电力(Kyushu Electric Power)，以及日本国际协力银行(Japan Bank of International Cooperation)组成。

　　淡马锡在声明中说，交易预料在下个星期五之前完成；狮子能源也买下了圣诺哥能源截至3月底的3亿2300万元净负债。

市场估计42亿元

　　市场人士之前估计，圣诺哥能源可卖得30亿美元（约42亿新元）左右。

　　CLSA的能源研究主管包威尔(Simon Powell)表示，跟之前脱售的大士能源(Tuas Power)比起来，这个价钱算是便宜的，“以每兆瓦的价格作比较，这个价钱比大士能源便宜了25％。”

　　狮子能源的收购价约每兆瓦110万元。今年3月，中国华能集团以42亿3500万元，或每兆瓦158万元买下大士能源。

　　圣诺哥能源是淡马锡脱售的第二个能源厂，也是我国最大的发电厂，发电能力达3300兆瓦，供应我国30％的电力。

　　淡马锡是在去年7月宣布，将在2009年底之前，脱售旗下的三家能源公司；它接下来将脱售的是西拉雅能源(Power Seraya)。

淡马锡在今年7月宣布以招标方式脱售圣诺哥能源，竞标活动在本星期三结束。据市场人士说，狮子能源击败的对手包括印度达达能源(Tata Power)、香港中电(CLP)与日本三菱公司(Mitsubishi)各持股50％的合资公司OneEnergy、新加坡的吉宝企业 (Keppel)，以及马来西亚的杨忠礼电力(YTL Power)。

　　淡马锡投资部董事邓慧娴说：“狮子能源财团的成员，都是业内数一数二的的业者，在全球能源投资有很优良的记录。不论是价格或商业条件，狮子能源的献议最具吸引力。”

　　她表示，投资者的浓厚兴趣说明了业务本身具备了高素质，也反应投资者对新加坡市场的信心，“这项交易加快并迅速完成，意味我们脱售能源公司的计划将能如期完成。”

　　日本丸红集团的执行员千寻鹿间说：“这项庞大的投资是对新加坡经济和能源领域投下重大的信任票。狮子能源财团在全球的发电能力大约是138千兆瓦(GW)，我们期待扮演重要的角色，在新加坡提供可靠、价格具竞争力的电力供应。”

Temasek to sell Senoko to Marubeni-led group

SINGAPORE: Temasek Holdings said yesterday it would sell Senoko Power to a consortium led by Japan’s Marubeni for S$3.65bil.

Temasek said the five-member consortium comprised Marubeni, GDF Suez, Kansai Electric, Kiyusho Electric and Japan Bank of International Cooperation.

The consortium will also assume S$323mil of Senoko’s net debt.

“This is a positive development for Marubeni, which is keen on making the power business a source of steady income,” said Takashi Murakami, an analyst at Credit Suisse.

But he said Marubeni would have to offload some underperforming assets in future to boost returns.

Senoko is a profitable power unit and generates a third of Singapore’s electricity. It is the second of three power units that Temasek, the city-state’s second biggest wealth fund, hopes to sell by mid-2009. Tuas Power was sold to China’s Huaneng Group in March for S$4.2bil.

Temasek, which had in recent years deferred the sale of its power assets, was taking advantage of the lack of privatisation in Asia’s power industry, analysts said.

Singapore is considered a mature market and no longer has the heavy manufacturing industry such as China and India that guzzles power, putting a question mark over demand growth. — Reuters
