[NEWS] KBS Music Bank show cancelled on 9th April!
It is known that there is high possibility that following the 2 weeks cancellation of the music shows, KBS Music Bank will be cancelling its live music show on 9th April.
According to Music Bank homepage on 6th April, it was written, “The show on 9th April will be cancelled in view of the CheonAh naval ship sinking.” The show was cancelled on 2nd April previously after the sinking accident on 26th March.
There were 46 naval officers who lost their lives in the sinking and considering the societal atmostphere, the show will be cancelled for 2 weeks in the row.
Music shows and comedy shows airing have been affected by the naval sinking. And it seems that this week, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo shows are also likely to be cancelled.
The decisions have not been set for the other 2 broadcast companies for their music shows, but it is said that with KBS Music Bank’s decision for show cancellation, there is inevitable influence on their decisions.
Especially since MBC is not only being affected by the naval sinking, but is also facing its own labour walkout. Even though there is a pre-recording of the show on 3rd April, the production team was in a way affected.
With the weekly shows being cancelled for 2 weeks in a row in April, many singer comebacks are also affected.
