02-07-2007: Megan Media posts RM1.14b net loss in 4Q


Megan Media Holdings Bhd, which reported accounting fraud at its subsidiary, posted a whopping net loss of RM1.14 billion for the fourth quarter ended April 30, 2007, according to the unaudited results released on July 2.

For the full year ended April 30, 2007, the net loss was RM1.26 billion compared with RM60.23 million net profit in FY ended April 30, 2006.

The company said the 4Q results had been approved by the board of directors.

“The company (Megan Media) wishes to reiterate that further to previous announcements, the investigation work into the fraud and irregularities is still ongoing. The Company's current annual audit is also in progress,” it said.

On June 11, Megan Media announced accounting misstatements in its books going back to its 2005 financial year, when its trade receivables were first inflated. The accounting fraud was at its subsidiary, Memory Tech Sdn Bhd.

如果yeo看了，不知會如何想，不回來清楚證明一點，如他回來也是死，不回來也是死，印度人玩的真夠大，從盈利變成完全負盈利。
我想yeo在中國也沒人敢和他做生意了，這球越轉越大了，我想sc也應該請他回來 ，連銀行也看走眼了，回教債券的錢，如收不回，我想 安x 又要大做文章了。

看了真是會變心臟病了，這種債目，直指他下不了台。

.....媒岸控股因假賬而導致無法還債，債權銀行包括花旗銀行（CITIBANK）、聯昌銀行（CIMB）、星展銀行（DBS）、匯豐銀行（HSBC）、馬銀行和興業資本（RHBCAP，1066）。個別銀行涉額介於1000萬到2億5000萬令吉......
......除了本述債權銀行，花旗銀行握有媒岸控股的絕大部份債券。債券持有人聲稱，花旗銀行與媒岸控股管理層正嘗試重組該公司債務，双方仍有洽商空间......

看到这样的报告，我不认为花旗银行会有"洽商空间"了。。。

这句话有很大的误解。做生意人的人都知道在中国他可以生存，而且还会越做越大

最重要的是不要认为有人知道杨天才做什么，有什么历史。

因为我非常肯定知道这事和注意这事的人不超过2000人。在中国根本没有人认识他

只有愤怒的人才会认为杨天才会没有生意。真正的事实是他已经平步青云了，他将永远富裕。剩下的是贫穷的银行和小股东。

不要用愤怒来看一件事，这通常会得出不对的结论

要相信事实，那么才能成长富裕，一路不正确的看事情只会令自己内心好过，是不会变强的，也不会变富裕的。

有钱人不会骗自己，每一次的失败都会学到东西。只有一直失败的人才会不承认事实而幻想一些自己喜欢的结果。

花旗银行 以前也差點倒閉，這次要如何面對花旗银行的股東們，為何會惜錢給megan，現在要如何收拾這破碎的megan。
不給megan機會，破產嗎?花旗银行惜出去的錢拿不回來了，那另外的回教債券的三億多，也收不回來，如讓megan破產，那政府大力推展的回教債券也會失去信譽，該如何好呢?
wa!真夠力了，好像現在完全變成megan從一開始做起，就是虧錢生意，那以前的回教證券行和銀行家，不是個個是笨到惜錢給megan去做生意，現在最慘的應該是銀行家了，英國最老的銀行，也是被新加坡子公司拉倒， 又是新加坡，呵呵，那下來的花旗银行會如何面對收不回來的錢，megan賣完所有的公司資產也不夠還清債務，如果破產了，megan倒閉關門了，錢也飛了，銀行錢收不回來，那不是益了那做假債之人嗎?
wah!那到時全馬的上市公司也照樣有樣學樣了，個個也變會億萬之人了，呵呵~

不卖是因为投机，我也没有卖，因为我答应过要看到最后一分钟。已经writeoff了，还没卖。因为诚信是很重要的，讲了就要做到。

我相信一點，如果上一次新加坡子公司讓它直接破產，那yeo就可以沒事情，但是反過來講，為何當時的股東甘冒著要破產的子公司，而去做擔保，不讓它破產，所以這當中很難講，如果真的是印度人不讓子公司清盤的原因是要追討失去的錢財，那下來的一切事件，我想印度人應該會如何做了，所以我甘願股票變白紙，也要看看，一人做了這件事情，而危害了投資者的利益而沒事的，而且大多投資者我想信也是經過上次的股東大會時，董事大力推說megan的未來前途，所以才買進megan的。

在发问上有些大纲我有些到下来
*董事长说我们的banker对于我们的前景是充满信心！
*We are in Good position
中间有人提问董事长和财务顾问，megan打算如何降低目前的债务状况！
*董事们回答的是 we need to expand our product technology and product capacity
就如我们刚投资了200m 在blue-ray 和 hd dvd（我们必须走在科技的前端那样才能争取更大的margin）
董事长说megan选择投入blue-ray 和 hd dvd是因为目前没有多少家厂商在生产这类产品
而且董事长说 We are not problem get funds for expand!
而那位刚退为董事转去当财务顾问的daniel 说 他们正在和一些对MEgan的行业有兴趣的外国基金进行洽商！

這些話和報紙等等新聞可以見證的，所以megan董事也講過會追究到底，給投資者一個答案，如果真的megan被清盤了，那就只好認命了，如果被清盤之後，董事們又追回那些資金，到時大家都賣出了股票了，那到時要退還錢給投資者時，那不是更加無言嗎?

另外如果讓megan破產，我想銀行和回教債券行和一些銀行也會吃虧了，所以一切虧損都來自新加坡子公司的假債而導致megan出現了危機，銀行虧的比投資者更多，為何還要談判，原因我想銀行也是要找辨法收回這債務，那為何銀行又肯要談判?megan還有什麼條件讓銀行做下來談判，如果講megan現在里頭真的沒重要人物的話，我想銀行也不會和megan談判了，所以一切定論，大家都是擔心表面的負債，如果是這樣子，通常一般投資者會斷掌，賣了，好過變白紙，有得人不甘願，也有的人相信會得到應有的東西，那下來唯有听銀行的談判報告了，如果談判不成，那下來的條件就是那回教債券行的方面了，可以講機會非常小，可能連0.01%也不到，所以唯有對自已講，我從沒買過這股票，可能心會好一點。

媒岸全年虧12.6億
（吉隆坡2日訊）媒岸控股（MEGAN，7101，主板工業）截至4月杪，全年淨虧12億6509萬令吉。

期間，該公司稅前淨虧高達12億9649萬令吉！

儘管全年營業額達1億2218萬令吉，但每股虧損大挫至6.23令吉，比較06財年每股盈利為29.50仙。

媒岸控股最新宣佈的未審核財報指出，上述財報已獲董事部批准，惟子公司假賬事宜仍在調查中，同時也正在審核公司現財年的業績。”

媒岸控股是在6月7日表示，懷疑子公司Memory科技虛報假賬，這包括虛構應收賬目、銷售成本、存貨清單、債主與借貸人等，導致資產值出現4億5600萬令吉的巨大差額。

營業額挫93%

受子公司假賬所影響，該公司最新公佈的第4季業績，淨虧高達11億3765萬令吉，去年同期則是2347萬令吉。

期間，營業額按年從3億2268萬令吉，猛挫93%至2142萬令吉。

媒岸控股在財報附屬文告指出，末季及全年財報並不包括新加坡獨資子公司MJC私人有限公司，以及后者聯號公司PT Megaplast Jayacitra（簡稱PTMJ）的業績。

“新加坡高庭已在6月5日，頒布庭令並委任普華永道（PricewaterhouseCoopers）為MJC的臨時接管單位，調查MJC債務問題。”

文告指出，已把MJC及PTMJ業績，從去年5月1日開始的財報中抽除，2間公司對媒岸控股的衝擊，已反映在現有季度及06財年累積財報中。

另外，配合財報宣佈，該公司今天（2日）暫停交易，至明天（3日）早上9時復牌。

該公司最后報價為10.5仙，憑單媒岸控股-WA（MEGAN-WA）最后報價為4仙。
