There has been lots of anticipation about SNSD’s Black Soshi concept ever since a tease at the end of their MV for their recent hit single, Oh! but the wait is about to be over!
Starting from March 11th, concept photos of each SNSD member will be unveiled sequentially until the 15th, with Yuri being the first. The Black Soshi concept will be for a new song that’s not included in their Oh! album.
And besides seeing Yuri’s photo getting released first, fans will also be delighted to know that she has recovered from swine flu. SM Entertainment announced on the 11th that Yuri will resume her activities from today onwards and return to hosting Music Core.
But SNSD will be taking a week’s break from performing to prepare for their new track so they will not be appearing from any music shows.
As many of you have already known, SNSD will soon be revealing a contrasting concept to their cheerleader outfits in “Oh!“. Who’s excited?
The girls will be going on a hiatus for their music show appearances to focus on their follow-up single of the repackaged album. Initially, it was revealed that SNSD were planning to promote “Black Soshi” at the end of this month, but seeing as the success of “Oh!” delayed their plans, dates for their inaugural performance have been changed.
On the 11th of March, a representative from SM Entertainment commented, “SNSD had no choice but to pull out from the music programs to prepare for a perfected performance.” However, Yuri and Tiffany, who are MCs for Music Core, will resume their duties on March 13th. Yuri has recovered from swine flu yesterday, ever since she was diagnosed with it on the 5th.
“Oh!” was released and promoted week in, week out since the end of January. They are planning to include the new track along with “Oh!” into the repackaged album, and will be promoting both songs simultaneously. Won’t these hardworking girls ever tire?
And on a final note, SM Entertainment has also released a picture still for their next “Black Soshi” concept album. Stills of other members will be released all throughout the period of March 11-15.
