Shouldn’t you be watching Serie A?
Serie A is often maligned as a dull, defensive league. Over the past few years, however, it has been evolving into a fascinating competition and here to convince you that you really should be watching is Stephen Rivers. On a recent episode of Sky Sports’ Sunday Supplement – a TV show that allows you to watch a group of tabloid journalists chatting over a pot of tea – the Sun’s Chief Football Writer, Shaun Custis, suggested that nobody watches Serie A anymore. Custis was visually flabbergasted that anyone could really be paying attention to the Italian league, the journalists beginning to discuss how bad the product is despite stating they don’t really watch it. Sadly it’s a view shared by many football fans in the UK. Essentially, “I don’t watch it, but, I can definitely tell you it’s no good.” Yes Shaun, yes you can, and people will believe you. But they shouldn’t.
The fans sharing this view seem to have two things in common. Firstly they were watching Football Italia – Channel 4’s Serie A programming – in the ’90s. Secondly, and just as importantly, they have barely watched Serie A since. Why should they?
Ask many fans about Serie A and they’ll instantly tell you the same things. The game is too slow. There aren’t enough goals. The quality is not as good. On that episode of Sunday Supplement the journalists even suggested that the teams in Serie A have no identity. Apparently, it’s all about defence, well organised teams shutting each other out, games decided by the odd goal as attacking flair is all but forgotten. Why bother watching?
Well, for a start, it’s not 1992 anymore. Franco Baresi, Alessandro Costacurta, Ciro Ferrara et al have all retired. As anyone who has been watching Internazionale this season will know, the defending these days is actually a bit rubbish. The last round of Serie A games produced 28 goals; 2.8 goals per game. Atalanta, Internazionale, Novara, Catania and Genoa all conceded three, while two of the league’s more defensive sides, Fiorentina and Milan, both conceded two. Not a 1-0 in sight.
Back in the “Football Italia” days three million of us tuned into Channel 4’s first live Serie A match – a 3-3 draw between Sampdoria and Lazio – and we did so largely because we would get to see the best footballers in the World. The rest of Europe couldn’t compete with the wages and transfer fees on offer, back then simply being a part of Serie A meant you were somebody, Hernan Medford aside. We learned to love slow tempo’ed tactical 1-0s because we could see the Gullits, the Van Bastens, the Baggios.
The rest of Europe caught up some time ago, and it’s not rare to hear fans insist that Serie A doesn’t have World Class players anymore. Of course if that were true Barcelona would not have paid |

继昨天热那亚和国际米兰(微博)比赛延期后，肆虐意大利的洪水又波及到另一豪门。意甲第11轮焦点战、领头羊尤文图斯(微博)客场挑战那不勒斯的比赛，原定北京时间11月7日3时45分开球，也因那不勒斯圣保罗球场被淹而正式宣布延期。
意大利近期受到持续暴雨袭击，连续几天的洪水在热那亚已造成6人死亡，包括两名孩童。昨天诺瓦拉与罗马的比赛也险些因暴雨取消，所幸诺瓦拉主场是人造草皮，渗水能力更强，比赛才得以照常进行。
那不勒斯今日也持续暴雨，虽然后来雨势减弱，但圣保罗球场地下通道被淹，而据天气预报，当地时间16时(北京时间23时)左右可能还有雨。由于这场焦点战广受关注，6万名球迷观战难以保证安全。那不勒斯市长稍早前正式宣布比赛改期，并劝告所有市民尽量不要外出。
尤文总经理马罗塔表示：“我们很失望，因为我们备战情况非常理想，但不幸的是，足球不能超越现实。”那不勒斯总经理比贡说：“我们同意延期的决定，因为这场比赛不同寻常，但这会使得我们的日程更加紧张。”
据那不勒斯当地媒体报道，这场延期比赛可能安排在12月14日进行。 |

其实比较想看现在这支曼城对上其他豪门能如何
可是拜仁肯定进圈了,so还是要为Napoli加油~

本赛季欧战抢分仅列第5 意甲难超德甲 恐被法甲反超
在欧冠小组赛战罢，国际米兰、AC米兰和拿玻里晋级16强。近年来在欧战中表现不佳的意甲成为晋级16强球队最多的联赛。然而，因为罗马和巴勒莫两队在欧洲联赛中表现差，意甲排名下滑的危机加剧，本赛季意甲球队在欧战的抢分仅列第5，虽然目前意甲的近5年总排名还是第4，但正在被德甲甩开距离，对法甲的优势缩水。
根据欧足总积分计算规则，拿玻里、国米、AC米兰、拉兹奥、乌迪尼斯、罗马、巴勒莫7支意甲球队参赛，分母太大，挣得的积分还要除以7，才是意甲该赛季的得分，这样一来意甲本赛均分只有9.071分，排名第5。其中的原因就是巴勒莫和罗马的战绩太差，罗马在欧洲联赛附加赛中1平1负不敌斯洛凡，耻辱出局。
本赛季欧战拿分最多的联赛是英超，目前已经拿到11.750分，足足比意甲多了2.679分。西甲拿到11.000分排名次席，德甲拿到10.083分位列第3。排名第4的联赛不是意甲，而是法甲。法甲6支球队总计拿到56分，均分9.333分，意甲只能排名第5。
