The Board of Directors of Hock Seng Lee Berhad (“HSL”) is pleased to announce that HSL has, on 13 August 2018, received the Letter of Acceptance from Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“PETRONAS”) for a project in Bintulu known as “The Proposed Construction and Completion of Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) on Lot 129, Block 37, Kemena Land District, Bintulu, Sarawak (“the Project”) worth Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred One Million One Hundred Eighty Five Thousand Only (RM101,185,000.00.00), through an open tender exercise. This Project is a part of PETRONAS’s Corporate Social Investment and KLCC Projeks Sdn Bhd is the Project Manager.  The Project covers a 40 acre site of hilly terrain and the scope of works for HSL includes pilling, earth works, infrastructure works (including retaining structures), building works for academic purposes, administration, student hostels and related amenities as well as the associated mechanical and electrical works. The contract period is Thirty Six (36) months and physical construction work is expected to commence in September 2018. The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of HSL Group as the Project progresses during the contract period.   However, the transaction will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholdings of HSL. None of the directors and/or major shareholders of HSL or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above contract.

The Board of Directors of Hock Seng Lee Berhad (“HSL”) is pleased to announce that the Consortium of Larsen & Toubro Limited, Hock Seng Lee Berhad and Larsen & Toubro (East Asia) Sdn Bhd has been awarded a Contract by Sarawak Energy Berhad for the Matang 275/132/33/kV Substation Project in Matang, Kuching, Sarawak (“the Project”).  The Project is worth Ringgit Malaysia Ninety Million Nine Hundred and Eighty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Only (RM90,988,880.00) and Hock Seng Lee Berhad has 45% equity in the Consortium.  Larsen & Toubro Limited is a company incorporated under the Laws of Republic of India while Larsen & Toubro (East Asia) Sdn Bhd is an associated company of Larsen & Toubro Limited. The scope of works for HSL includes earth works, pilling, civil infrastructure works, building and its related mechanical and electrical works. The contract period for the completion and commissioning of the Project is thirty-two (32) months commencing 7 January 2019.  The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of HSL Group as the Project progresses during the contract period.  However, the transaction will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholdings of HSL. The Board of Directors of Hock Seng Lee Berhad (“HSL”) is pleased to announce that HSL has, on 16 April 2019, received a Letter of Acceptance from Government of Sarawak through Jabatan Kerja Raya Sarawak for a project under the Proposed Construction and Completion of The Sarawak Coastal Road, Package 03: Proposed Construction and Completion of Batang Paloh Bridge, Mukah Division, Sarawak (“the Project”) with a contract value of Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred Ninety Eight Million Nine Hundred Eighty Thousand and Twenty Nine and sen Twenty Nine Only (RM298,980,029.29), through an open tender exercise.  This project falls under Package 3, which is part of the RM11 billion allocated for the upgrading works for the coastal road, second trunk road and water supply works in Sarawak. The scope of works for HSL is the construction of a 1.9km long reinforce concrete structure balanced cantilever bridge which include substantial marine piling works using 1500mm diameter steel pipe pile.  The other scope of works includes earthworks, geotechnical, drainage, pavement works and the associated mechanical and electrical works. The contract period is 48 months and physical construction work is expected to commence in May 2019. The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of HSL Group as the Project progresses during the contract period.   However, the transaction will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholdings of HSL. （吉隆坡19日讯）福胜利（Hock Seng Lee Bhd）获砂拉越州政府授予建筑合约，总值1亿451万令吉。

根据文告，该公司收到砂拉越公共工程部发出关于诗巫项目的承兑函。

工程范围包括打桩工程、土/沙填土、岩土工程、排水及道路路面。

该公司补充说，工程还需要穿越低洼地形，因此，其海洋工程专业知识将派上用场。

福胜利表示，合约为期24个月，预计今年9月动工。

该公司指出，该合约有望为收益作出积极贡献。

（吉隆坡22日讯）建筑与产业发展业务收入增加，把福胜利（Hock Seng Lee Bhd）的第二季净利推高16.39%至1643万令吉，一年前为1412万令吉。

截至今年6月杪次季，每股盈利升至2.99仙，之前为2.57仙。

季度营业额从一年前的1亿5425万令吉，上扬13.72%至1亿7541万令吉。

该集团宣布，派发每股1仙首次中期股息，将于10月10日支付。

福胜利表示，建筑业务为季度营业额作出86%或1亿5138万令吉（去年为1亿3869万令吉）贡献，其余14%或2403万令吉（去年为1556万令吉）来自产业发展业务的贡献。

建筑业务税前盈利增至1496万令吉，一年前报1333万令吉，归功于建筑活动增加及盈利赚幅改善。

产业发展业务税前盈利则从552万令吉，提高至685万令吉。

福胜利指出，现财年首半年净利上涨9.41%至3052万令吉，上财年同期报2790万令吉。

营业额则从一年前的2亿8600万令吉，增长12.63%至3亿2213万令吉。

福胜利今日还宣布，委任Datuk Sudarsuno Othman（64岁）及Datuk Laura Lee Ngien Hion（62岁）为独立非执行董事。
