馬約爾廣場（Plaza Mayor）修建於哈布斯堡王朝時期，是西班牙馬德里的中心廣場. 臨近太陽門廣場。馬約爾廣場的形狀為長方形，長129米，寬94米，周圍環繞著三層住宅樓，有237個面臨廣場的陽台。它共有9個入口。馬約爾廣場的控制性建築是麵包房之家（Casa de la Panadería），行使市政和文化功能，外牆布滿了壁畫。

马德里的零公里，被踏到模糊了
《马德里"零公里"标志建在市中心著名的太阳门广场的人行道上。这个标志是一块不大的半圆形瓷砖做成的。上面用西班牙文写着"零公里，公路起点"（km0,origen de carreteras radiales）。半园图形中心是一幅西班牙地图，中间有两个平行的同样长度的指针，两指针中间交接处画个0字，表示这里是马德里通往全国6条高速公路的起点。人们称它是"马德里的肚脐"，也称它是“西班牙的肚脐”。这个标志瓷砖与地面呈水平状态，很不显眼，很难寻找。不熟悉马德里的游人很难找到它的"零公里"标志。笔者第一次去太阳门广场就没有找到。询问当地人，也说不知道在什么地方。http://news.xinhuanet.com/world/2006-09/28/content_5148633.htm 》

晚餐在Botin Restaurant（Sobrino de Botín）...有什么特别呢？来看看吧~

Sobrino de Botín (Calle de los Cuchilleros 17, 28005 Madrid, Spain) is a restaurant established in 1725. It is listed by the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest eatery currently in Madrid and the rest of the world. Part of the restaurant's folklore has it that a young Francisco Goya worked there as a waiter whilst he was waiting to get a place at Madrid's "Royal Academy of Fine Art"). The restaurant is also mentioned in the book Fortunata y Jacinta by Benito Pérez Galdós (published 1886-1887).

The restaurant was founded by Spanish man James Botin and his spouse, and was originally called Casa Botín. It was inherited by a nephew of theirs called Candido Remis, thus explaining the change of name to Sobrino de Botín, which survives to this day.

The Sobrino and its speciality of cochinillo asado ("roast suckling pig") are mentioned in the closing pages of Ernest Hemingway's novel, The Sun Also Rises. Its other signature dish is sopa de ajo (an egg, poached in chicken broth, and laced with sherry and garlic): a favo(u)rite pick-me-up with Madrileño revellers.
