Firstly, let me talk about " This or These".

We use these in fron of plural nouns,e.g. Children,mice,people,police.(singular-people,plural-people.)
Where did all these people come from?

We use this in front of:
-Singular countable nouns:
Why choose this place and time?
-Uncountable noun
I hope this information will help you.

An uncountable noun has no plural form.Common uncountable nouns arehaos, evidence, ice, information, knowledge, lightning, literature, money, permission, pressure, success, poverty, sincerity, thunder, traffic, work, furniture.

Generally abstract nouns are uncountable noun.(abstract nouns are nouns which you can only imagine.)

We use this and these with nouns that we think are close in space or time, and that and those with nouns that we see as more distant:
-Can you help me?There is a problem with this keyboard.
-I wish you'd stop playing with that computer!

--------------------------------------------------------------
How to use give, given and gave?
Give-plural verb Gives-Singular verb
Given-past participle
Gave-simple past verb.

Irregular verbs are verbs which when form simple past verb, they are not added with -ED and Gave is an irregular verb.

You may refer to this website.
http://www.usingenglish.com/reference/irregular-verbs/

When do we use give?
Present simple

He   ]    ]     ]
She  ] is ] has ] singular verb(verb+s)
It   ]    ]     ]
I    ] am  ]        ]
You  ]     ]  have  ] plural verb(verb)
We   ] are ]        ]
They ]     ]        ]

Past simple
Function-It shows action happened and stopped.
He   ]     ]      ]
She  ]was  ]      ]
It   ]     ]      ]
           ]  had ]  verb+ed
I    ]     ]      ]
You  ]were ]      ]
We   ]     ]      ]
They ]     ]      ]

eg,Alan(he) gives them some equipment.
   -Alan is a singular noun.
Singular noun should be followed by a singular verb.

Manchester united(They) donate plenty of money to our school.
   -They is a plural noun,
it should be followed by a plural verb.

How to use given?
Present perfect-has/have+past participle
Function-shows completed action.
(note:No time expression in perfect tenses.)
They have given me the card.

Past perfect-had+past particple
Function-shows a completed action before a particular time in the past.

They had given me the luggage before i went in.

How to use gave?
Past simple-shows an action that happened and stopped.

Last night,my father gave me much money to buy stationery.

In addition, past participle can be used in many ways.
It can be used as
-adjective
-perfect tenses

If you want me to explain further, just tell me.

They have given me the card-present perfect(shows completed action)
If you want to use past simple, you will say-They gave me the card just now.(just now shows time expression.)

Have you read my replies???
i wrote the formula of present perfect
-has/have+ past participle

Forget-base form
Forgot-past tense
Forgotten-past participle

then follow the formula
I have forgotten.

Forgetful is an adjective.
What is an adjective?
It is used to describe a noun.

E.g. I)He is very handsome.
                   (adj)
    II)The handsome boy.
            (adj)

Adjective can be put infront of noun or after the noun.
See I and II.

Determine the part of speech first,
forgetful is adj
So when you say he is very forgetful,it is right.

"just now" didn't give us a specific time in the past.
Shouldn't we use present perfect?

"They have given me the card just now." Is this wrong?

"just now" does not specify the time, but it does give you the opinion of happening in a moment ago."You should check the meaning of just now.

Moreover, there is a contradiction in the sentence you written there.
They have given me the card-indicates that they gave you the card a moment ago.

According to the function of present participle, the sentence is apparently contradicting.
(function-to show completed action.)

Since present participle already tells you something happened in the past, you don't need to mention the time again, otherwise it is redundant.

Instead of saying they have given me the card just now, wouldn't you say they have given me the card or they gave me the card just now?

If you think that i'm wrong, pls rectify me,thanks.(do substantiate your argument with reason!)

Kindly prevent yourself from using the word 'freaking' at here, and try to type "I am" instead of 'im'.

Forget ----> present tense.            eg. I forget my name.
Forgot ----> past tense                  eg. I forgot how to do the question during the exam.
Forgotten ----> past participle       eg. I had forgotten his name. (have/had + Past Participle)
eg. His name will forever be forgotten by the world. (be + Past Participle) 被遗忘

You think, what is the part of speech of "freaking"?
Freaking can be a gerund, present participle or adjective.
However,in your sentence, you want to mention that you are poor in english.
Adverbs describe the adjective. That is why you should not use freaking, because freaking itself is not adverb. You should use adverb like terribly, extremely or (horrible english).

Where did you have your dinner/lunch/brunch/breakfast just now?
What did you do just now?

I want to play.(active voice)
I want to be played.(passive voice)

I have done my assignment.(active voice)
My assignment have been done by me.(passive voice)

I used to play guitar when i feel lonely.(Active voice)
I used to be played by guitar when i feel sad.(Passive voice)
(it means when you sad, guitar will play you, lol.)

When do we use passive voice?
When the action is more important than the doer.

I kill the snake.(active voice)-it emphasizes "I".(sb is more important)
The snake is killed by me.(passive voice)-it emphasizes the action(killing).(action is more important than the doer.

It's not advisable to use 'freaking' in your sentence. Using the plain 'very' will be proper. For example, in Chinese, "我很差" will do. You do not need to say "我很够漓谱差"

Other than that, Darksider has more or less solved your problems

Sorry,i think i have guided you wrongly.
Freaking can be an adverb or adjective,so it can be used.
However, because it is a slang, you can only use it informally.

When you speak with contemporary people,or when you write informal letter, you may use this.

In chatting,informal letter,the more informal you are,the better you are.(of course,the more witter,the better.)

When shall we use formal language to speak with people?
there are 3 criterias.
1)age(out of respect)
2)seniority(if they are the same age as you,you should speak formally to them too, because they are your senior.
3)rank(of course, they are higher in post,if you want to be promoted, you must make people like you.)

All in all,if you dont know when to use formal language, use it all the time, make people like you,you don't lose anything.
