我想问一问：如果我想要做switching, 我是否必须已经同时投资在equity and bond fund,然后才能够switch within 这两个fund? 因为现在我只有一个equity fund 在手上,没有bond fund，但是想要做switching

做基金转移,不需要同时拥有EQUITY FUND和BOND FUND。

手上没有bond fund,只有equity fund,那么可以switch去bond fund 吗?

没有问题，但不可以转移到PBOND（已经关闭了）。

Public Mutual Declares Distributions and Unit Splits for Its Funds


Public Bank’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Public Mutual declares gross distributions and unit splits for its funds. The gross distributions and unit splits declared are:

    *
      7.50 sen per unit and unit split of 1:10 (1 unit for every 10 units held) to unitholders of the Public Index Fund (PIX). The net asset value (NAV) per unit of PIX on 24 January 2007 was RM1.0018.

    *
      5.00 sen per unit and unit split of 1:20 (1 unit for every 20 units held) to unitholders of the Public Enhanced Bond Fund (PEBF). The NAV per unit of PEBF on 24 January 2007 was RM1.1159.

    *
      4.00 sen per unit to unitholders of the Public Money Market Fund (PMMF). The NAV per unit of PMMF on 24 January 2007 was RM1.0282.

The above distributions and unit splits declared are for financial year ended 31 January 2007.

According to Public Mutual’s Chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Teh Hong Piow, PIX is an equity fund that aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation while at the same time attempting to outperform the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index. “Launched in March 1992, PIX generated a one-year return of 27.24 percent for the period ended 12 January 2007, according to The Edge-Lipper Fund Table dated 22 January 2007,” he said. The fund is suitable for investors who have moderate risk-reward temperament and can withstand extended periods of market volatilities in pursuit of capital growth.

Meanwhile, PEBF which is a bond fund, seeks to provide a combination of annual income and modest capital growth primarily through a portfolio allocation across quality bonds and equities. “Launched in January 2005, PEBF generated a one-year return of 10.41 percent for the period ended 12 January 2007, according to The Edge-Lipper Fund Table dated 22 January 2007,” he added. The fund is suitable for investors who have conservative to moderate risk-reward temperament who seek stability of annual income and modest capital growth potential.

As for PMMF, Tan Sri Teh explained that it is a money market fund that is actively managed to provide liquidity and current income, while maintaining capital stability. Launched in December 2003, PMMF generated a one-year return of 3.18 percent for the period ended 12 January 2007, according to The Edge-Lipper Fund Table dated 22 January 2007. The fund is suitable for short-term investors with conservative risk-reward temperament.

Public Mutual is the largest private unit trust company in Malaysia, and it manages 38 funds for more than 900,000 accountholders. As at 29 December 2006, the total NAV of the funds managed by the company was RM16.2 billion.

很快就会有新的债卷基金要面世了，PUBLIC ISLAMIC SELECT BOND，我看别人的帖提到的，可以考虑。。。小弟较兴趣与股票基金与入息/平衡基金。。。越是有海外成分的小弟越喜欢。
