查了下,连一些非洲国家 rice self-sufficiency ratio 都比我们大马好, 看来我国的稻米生产/进口政策需要改革。
近年中国积极帮助非洲国家改进稻米生产,感觉有天我们连非洲都不如。
China is actively assisting numerous African nations in rice production through hybrid rice technology, technical expertise, and agricultural demonstration centers to enhance food security.
Major collaborations include Madagascar, Nigeria, Mali, Uganda, Burundi, Mozambique, Chad, and Tanzania, with significant successes in increasing yields, such as in Madagascar where hybrid rice output exceeds 7.5 tons per hectare.
Here are the key African countries receiving Chinese rice technology support:
Madagascar: Regarded as a major success story, with over 75,000 hectares planted with Chinese hybrid rice, yielding more than three times local varieties.
Nigeria: Projects, including support from the Gates Foundation, focus on Green Super Rice (GSR) in areas like Kano and Niger, showing 30%–50% higher yields.
Uganda: Collaborates on hybrid and perennial rice cultivation at the China-Uganda Agricultural Cooperation Industrial Park.
Burundi: Utilizes Chinese experts for hybrid rice and rice-fish farming techniques.
Mali & Mozambique: Focus on evaluating hybrid varieties to boost output.
Chad: Benefits from China-aided projects focused on rice security.
Senegal, Ghana, Liberia, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Guinea, Gambia, Niger, Tanzania, and Zambia: These nations are participating in broader agricultural development projects, including rice value chain seminars and agricultural training programs.
Key Aspects of China's Assistance:
Hybrid Rice Technology: Introducing high-yield varieties tailored to local environments.
Expert Assistance: Sending technicians and agronomists to help local farmers.
Demonstration Centers: Establishing centers for training and demonstrating advanced farming techniques.Infrastructure Support: Developing irrigation systems and providing machinery.
