6. BIRTHDAY TICKET FOR ALLSTAR MEMBERS
6.1 Effective from 1 January 2020 - ALLSTAR member will need to make at least 1 monetary transaction* within the last 12 months’ prior the member’s birthday month in order to earn the Birthday Tickets.

6.1.1 Birthday tickets will be credited into members’ account on the 1st of the month.

6.1.2 E.g. if member’s birthday is 15 June 2020, member will need to make at least 1 monetary transaction* at the box office counters or concessions between 1 June 2019 – 30 May 2020 in order to redeem the birthday tickets in the birthday month June 2020.

6.1.3 E.g. if member’s birthday is 15 March 2020, member will need to make at least 1 monetary transaction* at the box office counters or concessions between 1 March 2019 – 28 February 2020 in order to redeem the birthday tickets in the birthday month March 2020

6.1.4 New registered members will be given a levy for the first 12 months from date of sign up to redeem their birthday tickets. After the first 12 months, all conditions in 6.1, 6.1.1, 6.1.2, 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 will be applied for Birthday Ticket redemption.

*monetary transaction = does not include transactions made with Birthday Ticket redemption

6.2 ALLSTAR members are entitled to 2 FREE Birthday Tickets every year. Birthday tickets will be automatically credited into member’s ALLSTAR account based on conditions set in 6.1, 6.1.1, 6.1.2, 6.1.3 and 6.1.4. No yearly or monthly birthday ticket email reminder will be sent out.

6.3 The Birthday Tickets can only be redeemed at the box office counters at any MBO Cinemas.

6.3.1 Effective 1 January 2019 members will need to bring their ALLSTAR card AND MyKad (or any other personal identification card for non-Malaysian citizen) to the box office counters to redeem the birthday tickets.

6.3.2 Member are not allowed to redeem Birthday Tickets if criteria in 3.1 is not met

6.3.3 Member are not allowed to redeem on behalf of another member.

6.3.4 MyKad (or any other personal identification card for non-Malaysian citizen) will be used to verify member’s birthday month before redemption process starts.

6.3.5 Cinema crew will verify member’s birthday month using MyKad (or any other personal identification card for non-Malaysian citizen) and ALLSTAR card and allow the redemption & complete the transaction.

6.4 Birthday Tickets is valid and redeemable only during the birthday month (E.g. If member’s birthday is 15 June 2019, member may redeem the Birthday Tickets on any day within the month of June (any day between 1 June -30 June 2019)).

6.5 Birthday Tickets is valid only for movies that are marked with asterisk (*) – check show times and availability online at www.mbocinemas.com , mobile app or visit any MBO Cinemas locations.

6.6 Birthday Tickets are not redeemable for couple seat type in non-special halls or TWIN halls including special halls such as BIG SCREEN, ONYX, MX4D, PREMIER and Family Bed seat type in KECIL hall.

6.7 Birthday Tickets are redeemable for standard seat & VIP seat type in non-special halls or TWIN halls including special halls such as BIG SCREEN & KECIL only.

6.8 Birthday Tickets are not redeemable for advance purchase, sneak shows, and on during Chinese New Year week, Hari Raya Aidilfitri week or any other festive season.

6.9 In case of discrepancies during Birthday Ticket redemption process, cinema crew will assist members in filling up the customers’ feedback form on the day of the transaction.

6.10 Birthday Tickets redemption will be unavailable if the system is offline.

6.11 MBO Cinemas reserves the right to refused the Birthday Redemption at any time and/or change/add/modify/remove any clause in the Birthday Tickets Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
