莱佛士大学依斯干达是一所完全独立并受到高等教育部（MOHE）和资格鉴定局(MQA)认可的私立大学，因此所有的文凭都由本大学直接授予。莱佛士大学依斯干达是Raffles Education Corporation(RafflesEducationCorp) 属下的大学。RafflesEducationCorp 在亚太区开设了34所教育机构，是亚太区规模最大的教育集团之一。

虽然位于新加坡的学府是college阶级，但是它也是Fashionista.com选出的世界上50大服装设计学院。
