标点符号有问题，两篇都一样。有些句子读起来怪怪的，应该是字眼的关系。

新加坡人的英文是在“太好”了。往往会用到很深奥的词，连我英国的同事都吃不消。。

我发现一样问题了～～关于物品 goods
我在一本书上写到：
The price of the "good" times (乘）the quantity of the "good‘ sold。是个数学题，为什么这个good不是goods咩？还是这个good是有另个意思？ |

goods 是复数名词，指货品
good 在这里绝对是错误 |

在谷歌搜查了"the price of the good", "the quantity of the good", "the quality of the good" 发现，the good 作为单数的货品很多人广泛使用...... 这和“goods” 传统的定义有些出入:
Some irregular nouns always take the plural form. For example: The police are on the way. The cattle are in the bar. the faculty are in meeting now. Some others are: jeans, pants, clothes, goods, glasses, shorts, scissors, etc. |

查了Merriam-Webster （美语词典），里面有这个定义：
good：
something that has economic utility or satisfies an economic want
指的应该是这个吧。 |

今天去搜寻经济学辞典：Economics-Dictionary.com:
good
noun- an item which is made and is for sale
goods
plural noun- physical items which can be sold, as opposed to services which do not exist physically
根据以上的定义，good 和 goods 是不同的概念，那使用单数：the price/quality of a good 就没有错误。
搜寻后发现 good 是经济学常用的一个词汇。
注：这两个词分开定义就说明是两个不同的概念。 |
