I suggest you to plan your trip first then only can have cost estimation.
Like transportation? You may rent a car and share with 4 person
Accomodation? Can consider hostel, some hostel are clean and economy
Food? I may intro you some restaurant that only local people will go...which means reasonable price.
Play? Island Hopping + Kinabalu Park + Hot Spring... |

A lot of car rental here. You may rent it from airport, or search from Google... |

If you are staying around town area...Remember to try
1) TUARAN MEE
2) 鱼滑面/ 牛滑面
3) 鱼露米粉
4) Seafood (Got to look for reasonable price one...)

Depends what kind of activities you would like to have here.
1) You may spend a day to Kinabalu park + Poring Hot Spring
2) one day for island hopping
3) One day for city tours, try delicious local foods .... |

楼主，我将在5月17晚上搭飞机来。来到已是深夜11-12了。
1）那时飞机场还有租车的吗？
2）搭taxi去town价钱多少？
18号19号将在town那边。以一天浮浅和一天观光town...
3) 观光town一定要租车吧？走路去大部分旅游景点会远吗？我不想搭巴士。
4)想看日落，town area去哪里最靠近，又有得吃点喝点的？
20-22我回去爬神山。顺便去kundasang
下来后应该会很累，甚至脚酸脚痛。22晚上-24中午，有什么方式的旅游比较偏于relax。。。坐在船还是spa之类吗？我的plan是回去town买东西。
4）有什么吃喝玩乐的可介绍？没去过等于没去过KK的？
5)买东西哪里会便宜点？
6）错过了gaya market,哪里有类似的market？
