Description	Maxis Berhad ("Maxis" or "the Company"): Proposed Investment in Digital Nasional Berhad ("Proposed Investment")
We refer to the announcements dated 1 December 2023, 20 June 2024, 28 June 2024 and 13 May 2025 in relation to the Proposed Investment. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions as set out in the announcements shall apply herein. The Company wishes to announce that it had provided an additional shareholder advance of RM116,666,667 (“Additional Shareholder Advance”) to Digital Nasional Berhad (“DNB”) on 15 August 2025. The Additional Shareholder Advance was made by Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maxis that holds an investment of 133,333 shares in DNB. The Additional Shareholder Advance carries the same rights accorded to an ordinary shareholder in DNB, i.e. each Ringgit of Additional Shareholder Advance is entitled to one vote. The Additional Shareholder Advance is to facilitate the 5G operation and assist the financial affairs of DNB.
