我的护照过期了,但是我不常出国,只是近期要去泰国一趟,是否有"临时护照"这种东西的?我不想为了去一次就要花300块更新护照。对不起，我没有什么常识的，希望各位网友帮忙。谢谢你们。

其实是有的，不过只听说给那些护照被偷，不见的人去申请而已

如果你登记是霹雳或泰国边界的州属就可以申请临时护照，但只可以到合艾或宋卡

那个不是 临时护照 。。。叫边境入境纸 Border Pass
给 马泰边境的居民 - 吉兰丹 ，霹雳 ，吉打 ，和 玻璃市 州的 居民 、出生者都能申请。费用便宜 又快 ，可是 限定 合艾以南咯 。

护照 就是 护照 。。。若你跟团过去 ，可以要求旅行社帮申请 Group Passport ，一次性质的咯。当然若其他人都没有需要 也是不行。

结论 ，要出国 就得 renew

确实有。一本50元，只能进出一次，为期一个月。好像只给特定需求的人申请，要经过内部的高层officer批准申办，普通柜台应该办不到。

可申请2年护照啊！只要RM100.

yes.. u  can apply for Malaysia/ Thailand Border Pass.
But this pass only applicable to certain ppl.  Pls refer below.

Malaysia/Thailand Border Pass

Purpose

This document is issued to Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia of Thai origin residing in the State of Kelantan, Perlis, Perak or Kedah for more than three (3) years.

Validity

• Six (6) months from the date of issued and valid for multiple journeys.
• No further extension is allowed.

Conditions

• Form - Im. 92
• Two (2) photographs of applicant measuring 3.5 cm x 5.0 cm
• Payment of RM10.00
• Particulars of children below 12 years old can be included in either parent's Border Pass
• Documentary evidence that applicant resides in either of the States mentioned

Applicant	Conditions
12 years and above	Identification Card (if any) Permanent Resident Identification Card (Only for Permanent Resident of Thai Origin) Birth Certificate Father's Identification Card
