John:Hello, John Wu speaking.

約翰︰哈囉,我是吳約翰。

Jane:Hi, Mr. Wu, this is Jane Stevens. Tom asked me to give you a call. I understand that you had a problem receiving the materials.

阿珍︰嗨,吳先生。我是珍?史蒂文斯。湯姆要我打通電話給您。我知道您在接收資料上出了一些問題。

John:That's right. They were supposed to arrive yesterday.

約翰︰沒錯。資料昨天就該到了。

Jane:Right, well, I contacted the shipping company to get to the bottom of this.

阿珍︰是的,我聯絡了貨運公司,找出延遲的原因。

John:And?

約翰︰然后呢?

Jane:According to them, the materials will be there later today.

阿珍︰根據他們的說法,資料會在今天稍晚到。

John:Better late than never.

約翰︰晚到總比不到好。

Jane:Of course. I'm sorry and I don't expect there to be any further delays.

阿珍︰當然。我很抱歉,我想應該不會再延遲了。
