直接引語(Direct)及間接引語(Indirect)用語分析:
當我們使用直接引語時,有指責的語氣。因此必須改用間接引語,更為恰當,尤其在疑問的使用。
1. I suppose you have answered his letter.(我以為您已經复了他的信。)比起以下更恰當︰Have you answered his letter?
2. I suppose you remembered to call the company.(我以為您記得致電給那公司。)比起以下更恰當︰Have you remembered to call the company?
3. I expect you to prepare everything for me to cook.(我想你準備好一切讓我開廚。)比起以下更恰當︰Have you prepared everyting for me to cook?
4. I expect you have read through all the documents.(我想您已經讀過所有的文件。)比起以下更恰當︰Have you read through all the documents?
5. No doubt he hasn’t made the payment.(他必定還沒付那款項。)比起以下更恰當︰Has he already made the payment?
6. No doubt you should have read the small print.(相信您理應讀過那附屬細則。)比起以下更恰當︰Have you read the small print? |
