Pilot：This flight is taking a long time. I’m so bored.

正駕駛：這趟航程飛了好久。我無聊死了。

Co-pilot：You find flying an airplane boring? Most people would think it’s pretty exciting.

副駕駛：你覺得開飛機很無聊啊？大部份的人都會覺得這很刺激耶。

Pilot：Why don’t we head down through these mountains to make things more interesting?

正駕駛：不如我們低空飛越群山，好找點樂子？

Co-pilot：Are you serious? I don’t think we should put our heads in the lion’s mouth just because you’re bored.

副駕駛：你是認真的嗎？我想我們不該只因為你很悶就去冒險找死。

Pilot：What kind of co-pilot are you? You never listen to me.

正駕駛：你這個副駕駛怎麼這樣啊？你從不聽我號令。

Co-pilot：Let’s just stay the course, and later we can go see a movie.

副駕駛：咱們還是保持在原來的航線吧，這樣我們晚點才能去看電影。

★put / place one’s head in the lion’s mouth

字面意思是“把某人的頭放在獅子的嘴巴裏”。馬戲團裏的馴獸師（tamer）常表演把頭伸進獅子或老虎的大嘴裏，這種舉動無異是冒著生命安全來博取掌聲。受過專業訓練的馴獸師尚有所顧慮，若一般人也想依樣畫葫蘆，那真的是“冒險找死”了。
