请问怎么使用 by using 和 using ??

例如 : The graph was plotted by using a computer? 还是　the graph was plotted using a computer? 二者有什么不同??

通常人家都会删掉BY的。。。

如果有"by"又加"using"感觉怪怪的！
如果是我，我会用"The graph was plotted by a computer"...我也不知道对不对，只是觉得比较顺

by 有：‘通过’的意思。我觉得The graph was plotted by using a computer?是对的，就如我们说通过利用电脑来完成一样。不能说The graph was plotted by a computer而是the graph was plotted by me using a computer.至于the graph was plotted using a computer?我觉得没问题。但我不是很肯定，有错莫怪。。。
