关于server的问题

我公司有一台IBM x3200m3 差不多要够钟了，想要买新的一台。
想问如果公司现在server是用来做accounting software (autocount) 和file sharing， 那需要哪种server?  MS server 2008 是否可以耐个5-7年？
其实有一个freelance 和一家公司有给我quotation了，可是本人对server不了解和他们个有个的说法(dell & HP).
所以想在这找下有没有其他的说法。

1. online 查到有好几种server: data server, mail server, domain server等等

3. MS server 2008 vs 2012 有什么分别？ 我公司现在是拿来用accounting software 和 file sharing, 有需要直接上 MS server 2012还是停留在2008就好？ 现在用的IBM server 是 MS Server 2008

1.什么server是取于它用来什么功能，你的公司的可以叫file server。。。经济价格就可以了。

2.基本都是电脑的spec，看你公司bud get有多少，和要销售服务，service，保家之类


3。2008其实很够用了，除了你的user license，CAL要提高。
