Why UM Postgraduate Course Not Accredited by MQA

Halo everybody,

i found out that most of our UM offered Master and PHD courses are not accredited by MQA. Please see the full list in MQA website:

http://www.mqa.gov.my/mqr/english/eiptaKPListAA.cfm?IDAkrIPTS=251

This is very terrifying because alot of Master/ Phd courses that offered by IPTS were already accredited by MQA. Thus is it meaning to say the postgraduate course that me undertaking now at UM is very tough but my certificate is less valuable than those people took the postgraduate course at IPTS?

Any pro can help to answer?

That's few postgraduate courses in the list only. Most of postgraduate courses included mine are not in the list.

你要听老实话吗？
政府的工作，他们只看你的degree，你的post-grad有没有mqa他们是不在乎的

至于私人公司，我不是很清楚，但是他们也不常参考mqa的，只要你的大学不是野鸡大学

国内几间大学不需要mqa，因为有self-accrediation status
每年某个时期你就看到整个faculty很紧张，因为有audit来稽查我们self-accrediation的能力

对不起，这主要是因为我的中文不好。我读Master of Engineering (Biomedical),以前也在馬大毕业. 计划Master毕业後在新加坡工作。

新加坡承认马大的post-grad status的
就像上面讲的，几家比较老资格的国立大专都有self-accrediation status，所以就不用担心

你的意思是，如何知道我们的文凭，新加坡哪方面承认还是不承认吗？
这个我也回答不到。

但是来自马大的，真的不需要担心，毕竟我们的名声还是摆在那里
