前前屋主还没有terminate TNB户口, 申请换名会有麻烦吗？申请换名

如果旧屋主还没有terminate TNB户口的话
我能不能为我二手新家开新/转换户口？
因为据我所知，前屋主也还在用着前前屋主的名字

请各位指点指点, thanks!

通常牵S＆P的时候我们会要求律师出示TNB的statement以确保没有欠款。 你没要求你的律师帮你和卖主谈吗？

最好是前前屋主取消他的tnb户口。律师楼可以帮你解决的。通常还没交钥匙前，前屋主一定要把所有欠单还清。如水电单，quit rent, assessment, maintenance fees, etc.

拿你新的S&P去TNB说换owner, 他们会给一张form 你填，然后有欠的话就会要你当场付清，之后下个会电单就有你的名了

之前你屋主的deposit是要他们自己去拿回的，而你也需要重新缴费deposit给tnb

Syabas 和 TNB 的手续一样，如 #4 楼所说的，S&P 好像需要复印各一份给 syabas 和 tnb, 身份证应该也需要复印给他们。至于indah water, 我是先email他们询问怎么换名，他们回邮件会有一个reference number, 你只需要把以下东东寄给他们就行了：

The following documents are required for the change of property ownership:-

ü  Sale & Purchase Agreement stating the date of agreement, name of vendor & purchaser, the property address and signatory page which is witnessed by the solicitors.
ü  Annual Assessment Bill with the name of the registered owner and the property address.

前屋主是不需要亲自去割名的。

最令人头痛的是，当我拿齐所有文件去TNB换名却被告知电表从去年二月份就坏了，虽然第二个屋主也还了几百块钱，有些月份有计算到，有些月份却“零”计算，电表坏了，如果坚持换名，到时之前所有欠下的电费也会一并纳入我名下！
所以现在我必需搞定的可相当复杂和麻烦！
1) 要找technician去驳长电表，因为装修而藏在屋内必需把电表拉去屋外
2) 拉出去后要填什么Form G 和 Form H 之后交回去要求换名
以上两个都会大出血呀！
