益生菌可以帮助忧郁症

More recently, a study conducted at the University of Los Angeles California (UCLA), found that probiotics ('friendly' bacteria needed for good health and vitality) actually altered participants' brain function.
The researchers also found that the composition of your gut flora not only affects your physical health, but also has a significant impact on your brain function and mental state. By monitoring the brain function of the participants in the study, the UCLA researchers found those who consumed probiotic enriched yogurt had reduced activity in the two brain regions that control central processing of emotion and sensation, compared to those who did not eat yoghurt at all.
Commenting on the study, lead researcher Dr. Kirsten Tillisch, said: "Time and time again, we hear from patients that they never felt depressed or anxious until they started experiencing problems with their gut." He added that this particular study shows how the gut–brain connection is a two-way street... Giving much more weight to the old saying 'you are what you eat.'
Previous research, published in the Journal of Neurogastroenterology and Motility, also found that the probiotic, Bifidobacterium longum NCC3001, normalized anxiety-like behaviour. Other research found that the probiotic, Lactobacillus rhamnosushad, a marked effect on a neurotransmitter that plays a significant role in regulating many physiological and psychological processes and that it lowered levels of the stress-induced hormone corticosterone, resulting in reduced anxiety- and depression-related behaviour.
The fact is, you have neurons both in your brain and your gut — including neurons that produce hormones like serotonin, which is involved in mood control, depression and aggression. In fact, the greatest concentration of serotonin is found in your intestines, and not your brain.
This might be one of the reasons why antidepressants, which raise serotonin levels in your brain, are often ineffective in treating depression, whereas proper dietary changes often help.

请问你的医生有没有告知要如何摄取 Probiotics (益生菌) 呢?我们普遍上知道的 Yogurt, Yogurt Drinks 里就有 Probiotics, 但我觉都是属于微量的,那需要摄取多少的份量才足以对忧郁症起到一些作用呢?

我知道的是,早上空腹吃或晚上临睡前吃,效果比较好。至于分量,我就不清楚。要问那医生。
你可以在外面市场买到。有很多品牌的。当然,我做的直销也有卖。 |

我问了。他说,是看个人体质反应。通常鼓励吃3个月才看效果。
另一个,是homoeopathy的。她说她喜欢治疗这中精神/情绪病。如果你要,可以给你联络。 |
