Planned content would involve replacement to the current EADS TRS-3D radar, followed by the installation of a surface-to-surface missile system. The Kedah class currently only carries a 76 mm main gun and a 30 mm secondary gun.The RMN will conduct evaluations for the selection of the radar and SSM if funding is approved, said Adm Aziz, adding that, if the allocated funds permit it, the RMN would also install a surtace·to·air missile system. funding for this, the RMN has proposed either a modified version of the localty built Gagah Samudera-class training shipdesign or a new 50-75 m design to be sourced from a foreign manufacturer. The replacement ship would not be an FAC type, but rather one capable of long-distance endurance and patrolling of Malaysia's waters, with firepower equal or greater to the FACs it would replace. The Kedah class is based on the German Naval Group consortium's MEKO 100. An initial batch of six vessels was ordered from local shipbuilder and prime contractor Penang Shipbuilding & Construction - Naval Oockyard (PSC-ND) in 1998, although the first in class was only commissioned in June 2006 alter a series of lengthy delays. - 50~70m的军舰估计在600-1000吨吧,
