要看你的developer 那时是rent from 政府 or private ?
如果是 政府,你可以用人民力量extend 99 year 或 freehold.
例如 pj 大港 landed 66 year. Gov 收回那边旺地,好才大选extend 99 year.
如果是 private ,那很难loh...

无论landed,condo....freehold or leasehold.

99 year 以后, 政府可以收回! 要看地主(政府 or private) offer...

原則上, freehold是永久但你的地不是永久的. 地是政府的!你是永久租地,不是你的。政府可以使用
土地征收法征收你的地!
除非你的unit 是不用地,那就永久是你的loh

You are correct, many people misunderstanding freehold is forever to him ! that is wrong ! But Malaysian very like title with "freehold",  so it make the freehold market price a bit high.

Dun worry ! if your location is best it should be no different with freehold and leasehold !

放心啦在Malaysia还没有House unit (freehold or leasehold)地被征收!
only renew leasehold.
但如果你還在思考leasehold 不会很高价? 是不比freehold高价 ,
因为你很难改变buyer思想

freehold 和leasehold 的差别很大，当leasehold 的房屋到剩下60年时，银行是不会借钱给买方，这表示买方必须用cash 买完。

而且地点如果不是很理想会影响价值很多！！

   民联take over 前是没錯, Residency Calculate : - 1/2 x 1/100 x land size x market value.
   現在 1k 是人民力量 !



银行不会是問題 !  例如 : 以现在 SS2 RM 100k renewal 便宜了 for 99 years.  你支付 100k for 99 year 並出售500k   , 銀行会批!

   freehold and leasehold 沒有太大不同!地点才是最重要 !
