Newcastle United full-back Jose Enrique will undergo a medical at Liverpool on Thursday after the clubs agreed a transfer fee.
Liverpool, who have been tracking Enrique for a number of months, have had a bid of around £6 million accepted for the 25-year-old and the saga over his future appears to be finally approaching a climax.
