1) #Commodity Sourcing Manager  
Commodities involved are : (ODM-Preforms, TIM, Solder Paste, Underfill, Adhesive, Solder Balls, Flux, flux cleaner).  Associated with sourcing, technical evaluation and management of external commodity suppliers. Acquires and guides acquisition and interpretation of market research and sourcing information. Ensures consistent application of World Class Supplier (WCS) approaches for the supply base. Strives for continuity of supply and leveraged preferential treatment from suppliers.
Requirements:
•        BS/BA degree, preferable in purchasing, supply chain management, industrial chemical engineering, chemistry or related field: MBA preferred.
•        7-10 years with comprehensive knowledge of procurement, commodity and supply chain management.
•        Demonstrated experience in effective communication. Strong organizational and leadership skills, interpersonal & project management


2) #Section Manager (Global Indirect Procurement)
Manages a group of senior / buyers and purchase for categories of spends which is <USD100K/ order and that includes professional services, facilities/real estates, marketing, IT hardware/software, engineering services, etc for AMD globally. Provides leadership in supporting procurement cross-functional teams for global and strategic procurement projects to optimize purchase decision and achieving the goals for company.
Requirements:
&#8226;        BS/BA degree, preferable in purchasing, supply chain management or related field, MBA preferred.
&#8226;        7-10 years of progressive Indirect procurement / supply chain management experience
&#8226;        Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and Project management skills / MS Project Management experience preferred.

3) Senior/Buyer (Indirect Procurement)
Responsible for global and AMD Penang indirect procurement activities for specific category of spend. Lead and formulating the procurement strategy and plan on category assigned in achieving the targeted goals for the company.
Requirements:
&#8226;        BS/BA degree, preferable in purchasing, supply chain management or related field, MBA preferred
&#8226;        3-7 years experience in Indirect procurement
&#8226;        Demonstrated effective computer, communications & interpersonal skills
&#8226;        Able to work on rotating shift

4) Senior/Engineer (Packaging Engineering)
Responsible for new product development & introduction. Involve in flip chip assembly process characterization & optimization. Responsible for substrate improvement.
Ensure flawless execution of new product introduction. Collaborates & frequently interface with internal & external counterparts & multifunction groups.

Requirements:
&#8226;        Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Material), Engineering (Others), Physics or equivalent. Preferable candidates with flip chip technology background.
&#8226;        At least 2-5 years working experience in the related field.

5) #Senior/Manager (Process Engineering)
Lead the Development & Sustaining Engineering teams in Penang, primary focus on Process and New Product Introduction; managed by KPI’s and Scope includes CPU and Graphics/Chipset products, Development activities with US support, Packaging Development work for CPU & Graphics products and Meet World Class standards of manufacturing Goals.
Requirements:
&#8226;        Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Material), Engineering (Others), Physics or equivalent.
&#8226;        7-10 years with experience of Manufacturing and Sub-con management
&#8226;        Strong organizational and leadership skills, interpersonal & Project management
&#8226;        Preferable candidates with flip chip technology background.

6) Senior/Engineer (Chip Package Interaction [CPI])
Experience in process development and new product development. Ensure flawless execution of new product integrating the assembly, test, substrates, bumping and wafer fab technology. Collaborates and have frequent interfacing across organizations, both internal and external.
Requirements:
&#8226;        Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics or equivalent with 3-6 years experience in related field. Preferably candidates with flip-chip technology background.

7) MTS/Senior/Engineer (ATE/SLT/UBS)
Sound knowledge of thermal control, test and measurement and instrumentation with working experience of test equipment development, installation and qualification process.

Requirements:
&#8226;        Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
&#8226;        Experience in handling testers (e.g. Teradyne J97x, Credence ITS9000, Credence Sapphire, Verigy 93K) will be a strong advantage
&#8226;        Knowledge of real time operating system such as NI LabVIEW Real Time and FPGA for high speed control is an added advantage
&#8226;        Familiar with refrigeration-based cooling system would be an added advantage
&#8226;        Successful candidates may be required to travel overseas for training

8) MTS/Senior/Engineer (Process/Mark and Pack)
Familiar with TMP operation and Possess strong Process, Mark and Pack equipment knowledge
Requirements:
&#8226;        Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
&#8226;        Successful candidates may be required to travel overseas for training

9) MTS/Senior/Engineer (Product Engineering)
Technical and specialized knowledge or experience in microprocessor and semiconductor industries
Technically competent in the area of specialization (e.g. Device physics, Process technology, x86-architecture, Test methodologies, etc)
General understanding of all phases of manufacturing/operations

Requirements:
&#8226;        Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
&#8226;        Successful candidates may be required to travel overseas for training

10) Technicians (Process/M&/Equipments/Product)
Hands-on and familiar with operation and maintenance of test equipments

Requirements:
&#8226;        Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering
&#8226;        Successful candidates may be required to travel overseas for training


11) Sr. Accountant/Accountant/Analyst
Prepare quarterly forecast and yearly budget.  Review headcount and expenses, prepare journal entries for accrual / reclass at month end to ensure expenses are correctly recorded. Perform various cost analysis, cost allocation and reports. Attend to adhoc requests and participate in projects
Requirements:
&#8226;        Degree in Accountancy or equivalent accounting qualification
&#8226;        Minimum 2-3 years related work experience

12) Global Tax Analyst
Prepare components of the US and Canadian federal income tax return, various European VAT return. US Sales and Used Tax Return etc. Support Malaysian tax compliance, tax accounting/planning, transfer pricing documentations and research as required. Able to identify, re-engineering and implement tax process improvement for better tax planning purposes.
Requirements:
&#8226;        Bachelor's degree in Accounting / professional accounting with minimum 4+ years of professional tax experience.

13) Staff/Senior Recruiter
Responsible for driving Talent Acquisition activities at the local and regional level with detailed experience recruiting across broad disciplines and all employee levels. Lead the recruiting process from sourcing to final offer. Trusted adviser to management to create and execute critical recruiting strategies. Works with universities to target interns and college grads and build the talent pipeline.
Requirements:
&#8226;        Bachelor's degree with minimum 5-10 years experience recruiting in a technical environment with heavy emphasis on research and recruitment. Knowledge of semiconductor industry is preferred.

14) #Section Manager IT Governance

Management’s designate responsible for ensuring that all SOX activities are executed for all regions in their assigned process from a business operations standpoint.
IT Technical Background – familiar with IT in general for terminology and understanding

Requirements:

  • IT Audit experience / SOX Compliance Knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
    and COBIT Framework Knowledge
  • Assertive, creative and ready to work in a changing environment
  • Ability to accommodate flexible working hours is an advantage

15) IT Governance Analyst

Responsible for supporting both internal and external audit requirements

Providing periodic population and sample documents

Remediation or re-design of control failures as identified by either internal or external audit

Requirements:

  • Good analytical skills, communications & interpersonal skills
  • SAP knowledge·/Team player, Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under tight deadlines & ability to accommodate flexible working hours is an advantage

16) Senior IT Engineer /IT Engineer - IT Software

Develop applications with minimum guidance according to technical and program specification and requirements from the user.
Document technical specifications and user guides.
Develop and design Net based software using AMD SDLC standard.
Research and identify new technology.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent with 3-5 years experience of design and development


17) IT Engineer – Monitoring Tools

The Engineer is responsible for maintenance, support, and development of the infrastructure developed to manage software in AMD design/engineering centers as well as the software tools sets.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent. Experience in developing and supporting IT monitoring tools. Working knowledge of Perl, Python and Ruby.
Relevant certification in Unix/Linux is recommended.

18) Database Administrator

To perform database and system performance tuning, capacity planning and database maintenance. Proactively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify database/system related problems. Support new system implementations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent. At least 2-3 years of extensive hand-on experience on data base administration for MS SQL or Oracle Database.

19) Section Manager/IT Engineer – Collaborations Solutions

Responsible of handling AMD Work Collaborations Environment including Windows Servers, Citrix, SMS/SCCM2007, Client Automation (VBS Scripting) Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint etc. Diagnose and rectify related problems including support new system implementations. Section Manager will lead the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent. At least 2-3 years of extensive hand-on experience on relevant skill-sets. For Section Manager, minimum 5 years experience.

20) IT Engineer -
IT Security


The Global IT Security Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining technical information and security systems used to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of AMD’s information assets.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
Experience in IT Security & InfoSec roles including IPS, firewall and relevant scanning tools. Certification in Checkpoint, Linux, Microsoft and Cisco is recommended.

21) IT Engineer – Global Patching

The IT Engineer will be responsible to ensures that all services and components are patched with the necessary security patches from time to time in order for the business to continue operates under an acceptable level of security risk.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
Experience in WSUS/SMS, Active Directory, Windows/Unix/Linux, Opsware, Openview and Network Infrastructure.

22) IT Engineer – Virtualization

The IT Engineer will be responsible to administer, support and monitor VMWare servers ensuring highest uptime.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
Experience in VMware, Windows/Unix/Linux Servers and Infrastructure. Knowledge in network will be added advantages

23) #Section Manager Human Resources Business Partner

Leading HR organization and partnership for Global Services in Penang and driving growth and ramp up in Cyberjaya. Require a close partnership with the Global HR team to drive the deployment of multi level sourcing and talent acquisition plans, deliver ramp expectations and build growth organization in line with overall AMD HR model.  May require to travel to meet global management teams that will be moving resources to this high growth site.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years experience in human resources management.

A competitive remuneration package /position commensurate with qualification and experience will be offered to successful candidates. Cyberjaya employees will be given transportation allowance.
