C:Good morning I would like to make a reservation.（早上好。我要做一項預定。）

R:Okay.May I know what kind of reservation？（好的。我可以知道是哪項預定嗎？）

C want to book a conference room for a two-day seminar.（我要預定一間會議室作為兩天的研討會。）

R:How many persons will attend this conference？（多少位會參加這項會議？）

C want a room which can hold 80 to 100 people.（我要一間容納80至100人的場所。）

R:Our Regent Room can accommodate up to 120 people.I think it will suit you.（我們的Regent室可容納高達120人，我想它將會適合您。）

C.That’s good（那很好。）

Rould you tell me the date for the seminar？（您可以告訴我那研討會的日期嗎？）

C:Sure.It will be on the 5th and 6th of September.How much will be the rental for two days？（當然，那研討會將會在9月5及6號，兩天租金是多少錢呢？）

Rt is on Friday and Saturday.RM500 for Friday and RM800 for Saturday,excluding any catering.（那是在星期五和星期六，星期五是500令吉，星期六是800令吉，不包括任何飲食。）

C:How much do you charge for luncheon and refreshment？（午餐及茶點的索價是多少錢呢？）

Runcheon is RM18 per person and refreshment will be RM5 per person.（午餐是每人18令吉，茶點是每人5令吉。）

C:Okay,We would like to book the Regent Room.Also,we need luncheon and refreshment on Friday,and refreshment only on Saturday.（好的。我們要預定Regent室。星期五我們需要午餐及茶點，星期六只需要茶點。）

R︰May I know your name and the name of your company,please？（我可以知道您的名字及貴公司名字嗎？）

C︰My name is Grace from Standard Language Centre.（我的名字是Grace，來自Standard Language Centre。）

Hold及 Accommodate詞匯分析

Hold及 accommodate在一定的場合意思是相同的︰

1.The biggest conference hall can hold one thousand people.（最大的會議廳可容納1000人。）

2.The conference room can accommodate one hundred and twenty people.（那會議室可容納120人。）

以上兩句的意思是某空間能很舒適的容納某個數量。

3.The college hostel room can accommodate six persons comfortably.（那學院的宿舍房間可以很舒服的容納６人。）

4.The vessel can hold at least eighty containers.（那艘大船至少可以容納八十箱貨箱。）
