Disagreement with a Client 與客戶意見不合

Sally︰Hi, Jane. This is Sally Chen from Barossa Company. I have an issue with the materials we just received.

莎莉︰嗨,珍。我是巴羅莎公司的陳莎莉。我對我們剛收到的素材有疑問。

Jane︰What seems to be the problem?

阿珍︰有什么問題呢?

Sally︰I thought we went with "Barossa is best" for our slogan. The signs say "Barossa is king."
莎莉︰我以為我們採用“巴羅莎最棒”當我們的標語。招牌上寫的卻是“巴羅莎為王”。

Jane︰I see. According to my notes, you picked the latter one.

阿珍︰我懂了。根據我的筆記,妳選的是后者。

Sally︰That's not what I remember. We'd like a refund.

莎莉︰我記得的可不是那樣。我們要求退費。

Jane︰I'm afraid that won't be possible. This was a miscommunication.

阿珍︰這恐怕不可能。這是溝通不良。

Sally︰The materials are wrong and a refund is only fair. Can I talk to your boss?

莎莉︰素材是錯的,退費很合理。我可以和妳的主管談談嗎?

★client n. 客戶

client通常指委託訴訟或大型商務上的“客戶”,而customer通常指到商店消費的“顧客”。

★have an issue with... 對……有問題

★issue n. 問題╱議題

★take issue with sb 向某人提出異議

例︰Linda doesn't dare to take issue with her boss.(琳達不敢向她老闆提出異議。)
