马航终于确认订购55架737-800了。。

MALAYSIA AIRLINES TO BUY UP TO 55 BOEING 737-800 AT USD4.2 BILLION, TAKES DELIVERY OF A380 IN 2011
Subang: Malaysia Airlines today announced its narrowbody fleetacquisition plan which saw the national carrier ordering up to 55B737-800 aircraft. The national carrier will also take delivery of 6A380-800 in 2011.
ManagingDirector/ Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Idris Jala said, “Underour Business Transformation Plan, we are embarking on our networkexpansion to transform into the World’s Five Star Value Carrier.
“Iam very excited with these developments as these new fleets will bothform a strong platform for Malaysia Airlines to profitably grow. Thedeliveries will not happen for a few years yet, when the weakness inthe global economy should be less of a concern.
“We have placeda firm order for 35 B737-800 with an option for another 20 aircraft.The total cost of the 55 aircraft is USD4.2 billion at list prices.
“Weexpect to take delivery of the first aircraft from September 2010onwards, which will be used to replace our existing B737-400 fleet andto allow us to expand to points which were not previously economicallyviable.”
Malaysia Airlines also have the option to swap the B737-800 to the larger B737-900.
Healso said, “These aircraft will be used mainly for the ASEAN region,including the domestic sector in Malaysia and the fast growingeconomies of China and India. Clearly, we are now gearing ourselves tobenefit from the growth of this region which is projected at around 6percent per annum.
“As our aim is to ensure that the aircraftfor the core network will always be the latest in terms of technology,we will likely partially purchase the B737-800 on our own and partiallylease them as that would give us the flexibility to manage our balancesheet and financing commitments, and to sell some of them when thetiming is right.”
Jala also announced that Malaysia Airlineswill take delivery of all 6 A380-800 in 2011, with the first aircraftto be delivered in January and the sixth in August.
“Afterextensive discussions with Airbus and Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad, wehave agreed on the terms for the delayed delivery of the 6 A380-800aircraft ordered by PMB in 2003. The terms include an agreed amount ofcompensation for the delay.”
The 6 A380-800 aircraft was supposed to have been delivered from January 2007 to December 2008.
Jalaadded, “I think today is a good day for Malaysia Airlines, Airbus andBoeing. We kept the A380 on terms that are win-win for us and Airbus.We placed narrowbody jet orders with Boeing. We are happy to work withboth aircraft manufacturers.
“We are now looking at the widebodyaircraft replacement and will intensify our discussions with themanufacturers. This is again an opportunity for both Airbus and Boeingto make their best pitch for our business. Malaysia Airlines iscommitted to expand its network for the medium and long haul market.”

但遗憾的是，A380要到2011才有 
到时SIA飞完全球了，MAS才start。。

但非常期待马航的新飞机... |

2011年才拿到A380真的有点慢.可能是AIRBUS给MH额外的赔偿金也说不定.A380才延迟两年,而MH要比原定日期延迟4年才拿到A380.
B738也慢订购了,人家AK的A320飞到烂了,MH才拿到B738 |

以公司的财政来看，只有在今年公司才敢添购新的飞机。
过去几年的马航都是在走下坡，那时连收入、生存都是个问题，哪里会去想添购新机。试想一下，当你的财政状况不佳的时候，你会去想换新车、新屋吗？
所谓男怕入错行，女怕嫁错郎。当时我也没想到那么多，我不是含着金汤匙出生的孩子，所以我的选择不多，只要有公司愿意录取我就可以了。新航、亚航、马航我都有试过。
要把公司当着"长期饭票“也好、当着事业的”起跳板“也好。都是见一步、走一步来打算。
还有人曾经讥笑我加入每年亏钱的马航而不是每年赚钱的新航。 |
