关于past tense....

各位大大，可以briefly讲解past tense, past continuous, present, present continuous etc吗？小妹对这些有点blur.....希望好心人士帮帮忙。

past tense, past continuous, present, present continuous

我对英文不是很了解。。。根据老师笔记
simple /past tense...
simple就是原字啦。。。
例如cook,play。。。
My mom cooks a bowl of rice

past就是过去式。。。
例如cook改去cooked,play改去played。。。
My mom cooked a bowl of rice yesterday.

至于有continuous的。。。我不懂如何解释。。。
Present Continuous
[am / is / are ] + [ verb + ing }
I am eating the apple
They are running on the field...

Past Continuous
[was / were ] + [ verd + ing ]
He was cutting the trees yesterday.
They were fishing in the pond last week

我不懂我的解释有没有错啦。。。
因为是从老师听回来的笔记。。。
我不懂如何解释。。。

Present Simple
Functiont shows habitual action.

He/She/It - is / has / singular verb ( verb+s)
I-am                         ]
You/We/They-are   ]   both use plural verb (verb only)

Present continuous
Functiont shows action happening at the moment of speaking.
Formula: Is/Am/Are + present participle
                     Eg:He is cooking.
                           They are brainstorming.

Present perfect
Functiont shows completed action
Formula: Has/have + past participle
                         Eg: I have done my assignment.
    Tip:No time clause in perfect tenses.(eg,as soon as,until,yesterday)

Present Perfect Continuous
Funcitont shows action happening continuous without interruption.
Formula: Has / have + been + present participle (verb + ing)

               Eg: I have been doing my homework all night.
