on 和 by
On and by are very confusing because
1)on can be adj,adv and preposition
2)by can be adv and preposition.
Preposition is always added before a noun, pronoun or noun phrase to connect with another word.
you should write i will come to you tomorrow instead of on tomorrow.
On friday,on monday are correct, but on today on yesterday or on tomorrow is wrong.
Tomorrow can be a noun or adv.
Tomorrow is another day.(tomorrow here is a noun.)
I will think of it tomorrow.(tomorrow here is adverb,it describes the verb think.)
English common error

On tomorrow
http://wsu.edu/~brians/errors/ontomorrow.html
I will finish it today or i will finish it by today?
i presume the first one is correct, second one may be correct, but i think it is redundant.
By ( shows not later than,at or before)
I will finish it by 5 o'clock.
